Hello, I want to find out how lxqt works and probably to build it from bottom up. For example, in Debian. I understand that there is a Linux kernel, then there is systemd that should start SDDM…or…something else? Where can I learn the order? Where can I find how pieces of a standard LXQt Debian system work together, their order of launching, how they are packaged with all those dependencies? I would really appreciate any help.

My 2 cents: go through an install of arch linux, this is done piece by piece.

The doc already exists: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/wiki/Building-from-source.
