Removing flag from greeter

#1

I’ve been trying to find a way to remove the flag from the greeter page. I got far enough to learn that the greeter page is part of sddm and found a config file or two, but nothing (that I could find) referencing any of the flag images.

The reason I want to do this is the flag in my country has become an overly politicized symbol and I care to avoid thinking about politics when I’m logging into lxqt. And politics aside, I just find the flag distracting. The colors don’t blend in well with the greeter’s theme. BTW, I’m using the Lubuntu lxqt version. Thanks.

You could always try autologin…

sddm isn’t a LXQt project - but for the sddm greeter a possible start will be https://github.com/siduction/sddm-theme-deepspace/tree/patience - we removed all parts that are not really useful or insecure

Edit: no black magic, only a bit QML
