Top panel moved down after login

#1

Hi, Every time I login my top panel isn’t displayed at top of the screen but moved about 1/4 of the screen down. I use 4:3 monitor and I guess it’s moved to the position where the top of 16:9 monitor could be. So, every time I need to go to options and change the position for example to Right and then back to Top. Panel settings:

alignment=-1

animation-duration=0

background-color=@Variant(\0\0\0\x43\0\xff\xff\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0)

background-image=

desktop=0

font-color=@Variant(\0\0\0\x43\0\xff\xff\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0)

hidable=false

iconSize=22

lineCount=1

lockPanel=false

opacity=100

panelSize=32

plugins=showdesktop3, taskbar3, showdesktop4, quicklaunch3

position=Top

reserve-space=false

show-delay=0

width=100

width-percent=true

Very strange! Are you sure that the resolution of your monitor doesn’t change on logging in?

It’s 1600x1200 all the time. I think it’s not connected with aspect ratio as I suggested before because it’s moved about 1/6 of the screen down. Lubuntu 18.10 btw.

99% certain - panel.conf has wrong rights :wink:

It’s rw-rw-r–

What do you mean exactly?
